About Dr Maliheh Taheri
Dr Maliheh (Mali) Taheri, PhD, CPsychol
Hello, I'm Mali, a Chartered Psychologist with a background in Clinical Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Education, and Wellbeing.
For nearly two decades I have worked alongside individuals, families, students, professionals, and communities navigating change, uncertainty, trauma, growth, and life transitions.
My work is grounded in the belief that beneath the layers of experience, expectation, and survival lies an authentic self. Much of the therapeutic journey involves reconnecting with that deeper sense of self and developing the awareness, compassion, and resilience needed to move forward.
I integrate Clinical Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, and Neuro-Somatic Practice to support healing, emotional wellbeing, and meaningful change.
I am particularly interested in how people cultivate resilience, belonging, self-understanding, and connection in their everyday lives.
Alongside my therapeutic work, I am a university lecturer, writer, mother, and lifelong learner. I am passionate about psychology, wellbeing, neuroscience, nature, and the ways people create meaning and resilience throughout life's challenges.
Many of these themes also find their way into my reflective writing, where I explore belonging, compassion, personal growth, wellbeing, healing, and the experience of navigating life's uncertainties with greater awareness and self-understanding.
